Billie-Jean Duff is a notable Canadian rodeo photographer, renowned for her exceptional work and extensive experience. With professional credentials from both the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association (CPRA) and the ProfessionalRodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), she has been chosen as an official photographer for some of the most prestigious rodeos, including the Canadian Finals Rodeo and the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. Her images have appeared in top industry publications such as ProRodeo Sports News, Cowboys & Indians, and Barrel Horse News, and her work has been featured in marketing campaigns for prominent brands like Wrangler and Cinch. Billie-Jean is one of only two Canadian photographers to have been selected for the NFR, further cementing her reputation as an elite talent.
Raised in the foothills of Southern Alberta, Billie-Jean grew up immersed in rural life. While not from a generational ranching family, she was exposed to ranching, farming, and had her own horses, which shaped her love for the Western lifestyle. A self-educated photographer, her journey from hobbyist to professional rodeo photographer was a natural progression, deeply connected to her upbringing.
In addition to her photography, Billie-Jean also contributes to Alberta’s thriving film production industry, showcasing her versatile talents beyond the rodeo arena.
